After throwing some test posts out there to get the hang of our new blogging system, and pulling together the overall design of the blog, I think we’d like to introduce ourselves officially now! We are \myüü-zikk, still pronounced “music,” but with added spunk. We aim to casually bring you news in the world of music, and to introduce you to music that you’ve never heard, in order to broaden your musical horizon and enrich your culture. And though that last bit sounds a little like something from a communist speech, we assure you, we won’t be taking your property.

We do this for fun, for friends, and for fame. Who doesn’t love writing about music they like? Making new friends and introducing their old ones to an artist they end up loving? And while we’re at it, wouldn’t it be nice to build up an incredible network of music lovers?

Summer created the logo, Colin manages the technical aspects of the site, and we’d like to thank Chauncey McAskill for some code poetry.
