Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yeltsin - Modern Mystery
Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yeltsin (SSLYBY) just released their second album, Pershing, this past year. Right before its release, the band was signed to Polyvinyl Record Company, also home to Architecture in Helsinki, Joan of Arc, and of Montreal. Although no longer without a label, SSLYBY still maintains the lo-fi indie pop sound that drew in followers after their first release. They vaguely remind me of The Shins and labelmates of Montreal, but definitely have their own style. This is a single from the new album, recorded live for the Left of Center SIRIUS satellite radio show.
