Originally to be called the Pharmaceutical Bandits, the Rx Bandits are currently a five part band based from all over Southern California. (Anaheim, Long Beach, etc.) They originally started off as more of a ska band, but are currently more of a punk/ska fusion as of 2003’s album “The Resignation” and 2006’s “…And The Battle Begun.” There’s also definitely some hints of progressive in their albums, definitely in “…And The Battle Begun”.
Several Rx Bandits members are also founders/core members of a large collective music project entitled “The Sound Of Animals Fighting” (TSOAF also features members from Finch, Circa Survive, Chiodos, and more).
About the actual video, that was part of their live DVD. “Decrescendo” was actually the last song on “The Resignation”. (Rather ironically, since the song is definitely not a quiet outro). If you’re considering getting one of their albums I would definitely say “The Resignation”, for no particular reason other than I like more songs from that than “…And The Battle Begun”.
